Trevithick visit to Paradise Park

28th January 2015
Trevithick class visited Paradise Park as part of their writing project and research that they have been carrying out about the Chough. The wardens at Paradise Park explained to them what habitat the choughs liked best and what food they ate.
One of the wardens explained how he was volunteering at Lands End and a chough happened to drop an egg as it flew over him, he was then able to pick it up and it is now used to show what a chough's egg looks like.
They also explained how the Chough's are re-colonising in Cornwall with the help of farmers and conservation carried out by the National Trust.
