It is hard to believe that we have reached the end of the first half term already. We are so proud of the children and how well they have settled into the class routine.
It has been a busy time with lots of learning taking place. We are incredibly grateful for your support with reading and phonics. If your child is keen to continue their learning during half term, please refer to the list below. Any reinforcement that you have time to do will be fantastic.

Counting reliably up to 10 objects
Reading cvc words (eg cat, dog, lip, mum, cot, tap…)
Year 1 learning:
Long vowel sounds: ay, ai, ee, ea, igh, ie, oa, oe, ue, oo, wh
Recognition and formation of numerals up to 20 (and beyond)
Pairs of numbers to total 10 (1+9, 2+8, 3+7…)

She is happy to provide a weekly activity/worksheet to support your child which she can email out to you.
