Eden Project - Year 3 & 4

26th February 2018
Rain Forest Rangers at the Eden Project
Trengrouse class visited the Eden Project to learn more about the Rain Forest. They have already been learning about the types of animals that live in the Rain Forest, as well as plants and what the difference levels of the rain forest are called in the classroom. They have created some fabulous homework projects showing the different levels, we hope you have all had a chance to view these around the school.
Whilst at Eden they learnt about what plants, or parts of plants could be useful for survival in the Rain Forest, for example how bamboo could be used for making shelters, as well as transfer water from one place to another.
The children were also taken around the biome where they were able to identify which plants could be used for survival i.e. eat, drink or make a shelter.
