Water Sports - Kyaking 26.4.16
This week the children took part in kyaking.
There was an off-shore wind this week at Swanpool, although as you can see from the photographs the sea was very calm. Due to this the instructors ensured that the kyaks were attached in a crocodile fashion ensuring that everyone kept together.
Charlotte and Rachael said, "It's really good fun!"
The children kyaked to the "secret" beach were they did some coasteering over the rocks and pools, then kyaked back to the main beach.
The children thoroughly enjoy their time at Swanpool and are always given instruction on the beach before heading out into/onto the water.
Our thanks again go to Mrs Eyres who drives the minibus and keeps a watchful eye on the children, and to Mrs Henwood who gives up her time to assist.
